Why are some of my files not stored on Google Drive?

Updated this week

Currently, files you download on BAIDUDL are mostly stored on our CDN, but occasionally on Google Drive as well. We use a mix of both to provide the fastest possible download speeds for our users (up to 200 MB/s, depending on your connection).

Google Drive has safeguards in place to protect users from programs and files that may contain potentially unwanted software or malware. However, these measures can occasionally result in false positives. When a file is flagged, we are required to store it on our CDN instead. Fortunately, this typically does not impact performance, as our CDN offers comparable download speeds.

For large files (>150GB), we primarily store them on Google Drive, as storing and delivering them through our CDN is significantly more expensive due to bandwidth costs. If you prefer to have your file stored on our CDN instead, you can request this at an additional cost of $0.19 USD per GB, which reflects the bandwidth rate charged by our provider.
